Eagan Invisalign Provider Team Attends Ortho2 Software Conference
EAGAN, ST. PAUL AND MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA – Members of Eagan, MN Orthodontist Dr. Jennifer Eisenhuth’s team attended the Ortho2 User’s Group Meeting in Las Vegas recently.
In this case, what happened in Vegas will not stay in Vegas, said Eisenhuth, who opened her Eagan orthodontics practice in 2003. Instead, the valuable information learned will be shared with the entire team.
“We send team members to conferences and seminars throughout the year because it’s important to us that we remain current on the latest technologies and techniques that will create a better experience for our patients, streamline processes, and improve treatment time and outcomes,” said the Eagan invisalign provider.
The User’s Group Meeting, held Feb. 18-20 at Caesar’s Palace, focused on software enhancements and the increased benefits they bring to the practice and to patients.
Some software in use at Eisenhuth’s office has allowed the practice to go paperless in additional areas, such as processing insurance claims online.
“We switched to electronic medical records years ago and that made a huge difference in the amount of paper we used in the office,” said Eisenhuth, an Eagan braces provider. “Now new software is helping us go green in other areas by enabling us to make other processes paperless.”
Treatment software improvements in use in the Eagan orthodontist office that benefit patients include animation features that serve as an educational tool by showing patients how appliances gradually will move their teeth into place.
“Sometimes having braces can seem like a slow process and sometimes it seems to patients like their teeth aren’t moving,” Eisenhuth said. “Having animated software shows them how the treatment works and how their teeth eventually will come into proper alignment. I like to think it gives them hope if they become discouraged.”
