Eagan Invisalign Provider and Staff Never Stop Learning

EAGAN, ST. PAUL AND MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA – Eagan invisalign providerDr. Jennifer Eisenhuth and some members of her office staff are participating in a continuing education course offered at Argosy University, in conjunction with the Minnesota Orthodontist Association.

Eisenhuth and staff members at her Eagan orthodontics practice attend a variety of courses and educational workshops each year on everything from learning the latest orthodontic treatment methods to business administration.

“We want to be the best orthodontics practice in the area, so that means cultivating a great team,” said the Eagan braces expert.

To accomplish that, Eisenhuth encourages staff to find educational opportunities in all aspects of the practice, including orthodontic techniques, business administration, customer relations and human resources.

“When all areas of our practice are functioning at a high level, we can better provide a great experience for our patients, in addition to great treatment results,” Eisenhuth said.

The current course Eisenhuth and her staff are taking is titled “Managing and Growing Your Practice.” The six-month course began in January and covers topics including business planning, accounting, finance, leadership and human resources.

Eisenhuth is particularly interested in the leadership portion of the course because she feels that leadership is the cornerstone of good employee and patient relations and morale. It also promotes a smooth-running practice that leaves patients feeling confident in their treatment, said the Eagan orthodontist expert.

“I firmly believe that an office never can have too many leadership tools at its disposal,” Eisenhuth said.

The course includes one-on-one consulting with a leadership professional to discuss existing leadership within the practice, and to create a personalized leadership plan. A follow-up one-on-one session will give staff an opportunity to work on integrating leadership tools into the practice’s customized business plan.

“I honestly feel as though we have a great orthodontics practice and an amazing staff that provides excellent care day in and day out,” Eisenhuth said. “But continuing education is important for us to learn new and better ways of doing things. I also think it shows our patients that we continually strive to provide the best experience for them, both in treatment and their routine dealings with our support staff.”
